USDA Commodity Program AC – American Canyon Emergency Food Pantry

American Canyon and AC Emergency Food Bank distribution

Groceries – shelf stable food provided by Kiwanis of American Canyon in partnership with other organizations and Napa Valley Food Bank.

The United States Department of Agriculture contracts with CANV’s Food Bank to administer 6 to 8 nonperishable food staples to low-income Napa County residents once a month from 8 locations. Items typically include peanut butter, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, and canned meats. (USDA) commodities for distribution to eligible individuals and households within their respective service areas. In order to be eligible for USDA commodities, an individual or household must reside in the geographical area being served and meet established income guidelines.
