The United States Department of Agriculture contracts with CANV’s Food Bank to administer 6 to 8 nonperishable food staples to low-income Napa County residents once a month from 8 locations. Items typically include peanut butter, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, and canned meats. (USDA) commodities for distribution to eligible individuals and households within their respective service areas. In order to be eligible for USDA commodities, an individual or household must reside in the geographical area being served and meet established income guidelines.
NOTE – Napa Residents may only access one of the two sites.
